The Big 4 Transparency podcast is finally here, and I could not be any more excited to share the first episode with you all later on this week. For those of you who are not familiar, I'm Dom, and I'm the founder of Big 4 Transparency, which is a website and a crowdsourced database of accounting professional salaries. We've helped nearly a quarter million accounting professionals to date by providing them the salary data that they need to advocate for themselves, as well as to guide them along their careers. As of late, we've also been working directly with accounting firms who want to stay ahead of the compensation curve. We work with them to improve retention, as well as talent attraction, which in the long run only helps their firm economics, and it also helps the employees get paid what they're worth. In this podcast, what I'm really hoping to do is to go behind the scenes and show you how this whole system works. How are HR having their discussions about talent at these accounting firms? What are owners worried about? And how did they get to where they are today? I also hope to show you a variety of options that are available to you in this industry by exploring industry jobs, some of the different fields that accounting professionals and CPAs have gone into and found success in. I'll be releasing new episodes weekly, so I hope that you subscribe and tag along and share your feedback with me along the way, as I'm also learning how to improve this podcast as I go.
